I may have a complicated relationship with my country of birth, but... I was named for my mother, Lady Elizabeth Braddock. She, on the other hand, was named for the queen, like many other girls born in the year of her coronation. They were not royalists exactly, but both her and my father lived and died as the queen's subjects. There was continuity in that, I suppose.
