This is somewhat hard to write. My twin, Brian, had told me that our brother Jamie had been deteriorating, but I had not realised how bad it has gotten - in hindsight I think Brian was keeping the worst of it from me. Meanwhile he has also been single-handedly holding up our parents' company, and as much as he's trying to keep a brave face it's clear he's running on fumes. I am sorry for letting anyone down but these last days have made it clear that I cannot leave my family to return to the mansion.

Hope, I'm sorry for bailing on such short notice just before the Masquerade, and thank you for being a friend.

Q, there's probably not much that will be your taste but you're welcome to raid my dresser and wardrobe, and obviously you can keep the booze. And keep practicing with the psi-guns, I'm sure you will get it down eventually.

And Meggan and Alani, I'm posting some good tea and snacks to make up for not being there to pass them in person. Although I may pack in some Marmite Cheddar bites, too.
